Oliver Goldsmith's History of Rome was frequently revised, notably by William Pinnock and then W. C. Taylor. Questions to accompany the text were also published. Robert Simpson was the author of one set, published along with Goldsmith's history, whilst John G. Gorton published Five hundred Questions deduced from Goldsmith's History of Rome in c.1830.
